LevelOne WCS-2040 is a cutting edge surveillance system featuring motorized Pan/Tilt/Zoom functions and a built-in web server to deliver high quality live video through an existing Ethernet connection or 54Mbps wireless network.

In order to provide various flexible connection possibilities, this network camera can access control data and transmit video streaming either through a 54Mbps wireless network or an Ethernet connection. This camera is also easy to access as simple as surfing Web. Users can immediately use any of the features of this product simply by attaching the cables and turning on the power.

The WCS-2040 provides advanced camera features combining a 10x optical zoom lens with up to 10x digital zooming that allows for a total of 100x zooming capability to identify object details. This feature-rich camera allows for a pan and tilt control from remote locations. The pan range is up to 270-degrees while the tilt range is up to 90-degrees. In addition, the 0.05Lux low light sensitivity of lens enables this camera to capture clear image even in near total darkness.

The WCS-2040 contains an excellent CCD sensor that records ideal images up to 704 x 480 pixels. This device combines high quality live images with sound provided by a built-in microphone to generate streaming video in MPEG-4 (Simple Profile) or Motion-JPEG format. With its built-in microphone, the two-way audio feature provides voice communications during an emergency.

The Auto Pan function allows the user to define individual camera automatic panning movements thus providing the capability to survey the widest range of targets while the Patrol mode enable this camera to preset up to 20 spots for sequential auto-monitoring. The motion detection feature provides operational flexibility to record only when there is motion thus saving recording storage. With the WCS-2040 built-in I/O interface, users can connect to optional modules (motion sensors, smoke detectors, etc) thus sending alerts to administrator''s email when the detector or alarm is triggered.

With LevelOne free bundled software, administrators can monitor up to 16 channels simultaneously. The WCS-2040 also provides recording capabilities for synchronized video & audio when captured by Manual, event-driven or schedule recording modes.
