The VGN-AR71E has an impressive 17-inch X-Black screen, with resolutions going all the way up to 1440 x 900 pixels, and a host of storage solutions, including a 250 GB hard drive, a dual-layer DVD writer and a slot for Memory Stick cards. As far as connectivity is concerned, the VGN-AR71E has a Firewire socket and three USB 2.0 ports, so you can hook up external devices.
