This camera boasts an impressive combination of powerful, high-tech capabilities, including a 10.2-megapixel sensor, a photo guide, a face detection mode and a self-portrait function, allowing you to capture that perfect picture. In fact, the S1060 always lends a helping hand when you need it, because it adapts settings to suit the scene you’re shooting and has a number of scene modes and a scroll wheel, targeted at beginners. It also sports a D.I.S digital image stabiliser and a sensitivity range going up to ISO 1600 to correct blur and optimise exposure. Colours are rendered with incredible precision and sharpness thanks to the S1060’s white balance controls; and with a super macro mode of 1 cm and a motion detection mode, you can get up closer to your objects and capture fast-moving subjects before they disappear out of the frame! The S1060’s 5x optical zoom and 2.7” TFT screen enable you to monitor your work, while its light, compact body means you can take it everywhere with you!
