Technical information sheet of XHA1S High Definition camcorder

The semi-professional XHA1S camcorder, which follows on from the XHA1, provides total user control.  Designed by Canon to be comfortable to use and more efficient in operation, this lightweight and powerful camcorder delivers unequalled image quality.

The XHA1S has a 1.67-megapixel triple CCD sensor system and a DIGIC DV II processor built to handle the amount of data required for HD. This HD camcorder uses neutral density filters that protect the iris perfectly in bright light, guaranteeing flawless video.

The XHA1S is easier to use than its predecessor and has redesigned the powerful 20x optical lens. With the XHA1S digital camcorder, shooting is a breeze thanks to its Intelligent Zebra pattern, which provides perfectly exposed video.

Amateur filmmakers and future directors will be delighted to find two XLR sockets for improved sound quality. The XHA1S also has a BNC output, as well as many videos inputs and outputs, so you can add a viewfinder or control monitor.

The Canon XHA1S camcorder is ideal for making short films and low-budget productions and fulfilling your wildest filmmaking dreams.
