If you're looking for a high-definition camcorder and a high-performance digital camera all rolled into one, then look no further - the Sony HDR-CX106 does it all!

The CX106 records footage in AVCHD 1,920 x 1,080-pixel format and takes still photos in 4-megapixel resolution, which it then stores on a high-capacity Memory Stick card. With its 8 GB internal flash memory, this Sony camcorder can store up to 3 hours of HD video. Plus, as well as storing your photos, you can use Memory Stick cards to store even more video footage, and all in Sony's breathtaking image quality!

The HDR-CX106 features a BIONZ image processor and a 10x optical zoom for precision shots and crystal-clear results. You'll also find handy smile- and face- detection functions in the photo mode, as well as a density optimising feature. This makes the CX106 a great choice for capturing all those special moments in shots that are rich and bursting with colour.

You'll also find the Sony HDR-CX106 has an excellent range of connection possibilities, including a range of video outputs - notably an HDMI port.
