Technical information sheet of Pen EP1 - silver + 14-42mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom lens - black

Underneath its retro design, this Olympus EP1 Pen is a compact digital camera packed with technology, and which can be used with all kinds of lenses.

Based on the original Olympus Pen series launched in 1959, the new EP1 has been brought into the 21st century with a Micro 4/3 sensor and a large 3-inch viewfinder screen.

The camera body is incredibly light and can be used with a range of lenses (including the 14-42 mm f/3.5-5.6 included here). Optional adapters also mean you can use it with 4/3, Zuiko and OM lenses.

It has face-detection and a range of automatic scene modes handy for shooting in all kinds of situations. You can even adjust shadows and enhance facial detail for perfect portraits and rich, sweeping landscapes.

The EP1 can record high-definition video with stereo sound, and is the perfect compromise between a compact and SLR camera.
