Following the success of the K20D, Pentax's K-7 offers an even more robust body and a brand new HD video mode.

The Pentax K7 is smaller and lighter than its predecessor and is geared up for extreme conditions thanks to its magnesium alloy body with 77 weather-proof joints. It even comes complete with the AF200FG flash, a two-tone carry case and a 4 GB SDHC card.

As well as boasting a 14.6-megapixel CMOS sensor, the K-7 uses Prime II image processing technology to reduce digital noise and enhance exposure. The sensor is also magnetically stabilised to reduce image distortion and keep blurring to a minimum - no matter whether you're using a 35mm traditional or digital lens.

Here, it is supplied with the DA 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AL WR zoom lens, which is both splash- and dust-resistant for fantastic results, and a second DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8 ED zoom lens to pull distant subjects closer.

You can even film in HD Ready resolution for high-quality video, all accompanied by clear sound from an external microphone.

Plus, the Pentax K7 uses the advanced DRII dust-removal system and a range of internal processing functions to help make sure your photos always come out just as planned.
