The Nikon D3000 builds on the success of the D60 and includes an all-new autofocus with 3D tracking for greater precision.

When it comes to taking superb photos, this camera has it all! With features such as a dual dust-removal system and a wide sensitivity range (from 100 to 1600 ISO), you're guaranteed sharp images all the time - no matter the circumstances!  

The short start-up time and lightning-fast shutter speed mean you can capture memorable moments in the blink of an eye. The 3-inch LCD display is easy to get the hang of, while the lightweight, compact body means you can grip the camera easily.

Meanwhile, the AF-S DX VR NIKKOR 18-55mm lens is suitable for use in nearly all situations and has a vibration-reduction function to reduce the effects of camera shake.

Plus, the guide mode on the D3000 lets less-experienced photographers master the techniques of SLR digital photography.
